For this landmark project, Nagarjuna is joining hands with Ra Karthik, an emerging filmmaker who made a mark with his Tamil film Nitham Oru Vaanam. Now, Karthik is stepping into Telugu cinema to direct a high-energy action entertainer with Nagarjuna. The film will be bankrolled by Annapurna Studios, with the shoot scheduled to commence this July.

While many fans hoped for a mass commercial director to helm Nagarjuna’s 100th film, the actor is staying true to his adventurous approach — embracing new stories and taking calculated risks. Industry insiders believe this could prove to be a masterstroke if the script strikes the right chord, not to mention it’s a financially prudent decision as well.

Meanwhile, before stepping into his 100th film, Nagarjuna will be seen in the social thriller Kuberaa alongside Dhanush, releasing on June 20, and in the much-anticipated Coolie with Rajinikanth, hitting screens on August 14.
