Aditya 369 Returns: 4K Re-Release Set for April 11
A landmark film in Telugu cinema, the sci-fi classic Aditya 369, starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, is gearing up for a grand re-release on April 11th. Directed by the visionary Singeetam Srinivasa Rao and produced by Sridevi Movies, this 1991 cult classic has been meticulously remastered in 4K resolution with enhanced 5.1 surround sound, promising a visually and sonically immersive experience.
Producer Sivalenka Krishna Prasad expressed confidence that the film’s timeless appeal, coupled with Balakrishna’s soaring popularity, will make the re-release a massive success. He also extended his gratitude to the legendary SP Balasubrahmanyam for his invaluable contribution to the film’s legacy.
A true masterpiece in every aspect, Aditya 369 boasts a stellar creative team, including Ilaiyaraaja’s mesmerizing music, Jandhyala’s witty and profound dialogues, and the collective brilliance of cinematographers PC Sreeram, VSR Swamy, and Kabir Lal. The film also features Bollywood stalwarts Amrish Puri and Tinnu Anand, alongside notable performances from Chandra Mohan as Tenali Ramakrishna, Suthi Velu as a police constable, and Silk Smitha as Simha Nandani.
Krishna Prasad highlighted the one-of-a-kind theatrical experience that Aditya 369 offers, now enhanced by state-of-the-art digital restoration. He considers this film a defining milestone in his career, solidifying Sridevi Movies’ legacy in Telugu cinema. “We strongly believe that audiences will once again embrace this classic, reliving Balayya Babu’s hit history on the big screen,” he stated.
