As reported earlier, MAD Square emerged as the best-performing Telugu film of last weekend, delivering impressive box office returns. Following its roaring success, the film’s team came together for a Blockbuster Success Press Meet, celebrating the overwhelming audience response and sensational opening.
The event was a lively affair filled with laughter, gratitude, and excitement. Lead actors Narne Nithin, Sangeeth Shoban, Ram Nithin, and Priyanka Jawalkar joined hands with director Kalyan Shankar, cinematographer Shamdat, and the producers to share their happiness.
“We poured our hearts into MAD Square, and seeing the audience embrace it so enthusiastically is beyond our wildest dreams,” expressed Narne Nithin. The film recorded stunning opening-day collections, especially for a youth comedy in Telugu cinema. Reports highlight packed theatres, roaring applause across India, and impressive overseas figures, with pre-sales in the USA crossing $400K even before the premieres.
Director Kalyan Shankar, the mastermind behind the MAD franchise, spoke about pushing boundaries for the sequel. “We wanted to go bigger, crazier, and deliver ‘MAD Maxx’ entertainment. The audience’s love proves we’ve hit the mark!” he stated. The film’s hilarious humor, spot-on comic timing, and standout performances—especially Vishnu Oi’s Laddu and a surprise cameo by Sunil—have been widely appreciated. Adding to the fun, Bheems Ceciroleo’s peppy tracks and Thaman’s powerful background score further elevated the experience.
