Rukmini Vijay Kumar, known for her role as Prof. Rekha Bharadwaj in the movie Sita Rama starring Dulquer Salman and Mrunal Thakur, recently faced an unfortunate incident in Bengaluru near Chinnaswamy Maidan. Her car was broken into, and valuables worth around ₹23 lakhs were stolen. The stolen items included precious stone rings, a Rolex watch, a branded handbag, and a designer purse. The car was left unlocked, making it easy for the thief to grab the belongings and escape unnoticed. This incident highlights how theft can happen even when people think they are being careful.

The Kappan Park police responded swiftly and arrested the taxi driver, Mohammed Mastan, who confessed to the burglary. Fortunately, all the stolen items were recovered and returned to Rukmini, bringing her much-needed relief.
