Keerthy Suresh has taken people by storm with her acting prowess in Mahanati. She has become a star, thanks to Mahanati. After a long wait, finally, Keerthy has signed a Telugu film. She is teaming up with reputed filmmaker Nagesh Kukunoor of Bollywood who is now making his Tollywood debut. National-award winning director Nagesh helmed critically acclaimed films like Hyderabad Blues, Iqbal, and Dor. Although Nagesh’s mother tongue is Telugu, he hasn’t made a Telugu film till date. With Nagesh making his Tollywood debut and Keerthy being the face, the yet-to-be-titled film has garnered a lot of attention. What’s more?
It is learnt that it is a sports romedy (romance+comedy). The film’s shoot is going on at blitzkrieg speed and the first schedule has been wrapped up. While sports-based films like Majili and Jersey have done well, Keerthy is hoping that she would join the bandwagon of successful sports films.
Most happening music director Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music. The film is going to have interesting cast. Aadhi Pinisetty, Jagapathi Babu, Rahul Ramakrishna are part of the film’s ensemble cast.
