Superstar Mahesh’s recent film Spyder hasn’t worked well but that won’t deter the star from continuing to choose different subjects. While the story of Bharat Anu Nenu looks like simple political drama on the surface, it has much depth inside, says a source.
With Mahesh playing the role of a Chief Minister in this movie, many felt that this film is about contemporary Telugu politics happening in the two states. However, the subject of the film is said to be dealing with the prevailing education system that is making only money-earning machines out of students but not a knowledgeable asset.
We hear that ongoing suicides of intermediate students, the way Engineering students are becoming under qualified due to poor skill sets, and how education became a business in AP and Telangana, is said to be the core point of this movie. It seems like director-writer Koratala Siva wants to give new ideas to revive our crippling education system through this film and through his hero.
Like it happened with Srimanthudu, it looks like the duo of Mahesh and Koratala are touching another social issue now. Earlier they advised the Telugu states about rich people adopting villages and developing them.
