The collaboration of superstar Mahesh Babu and visionary filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli for SSMB29 has made the project one of the most awaited films, not just in South India but also on the global stage.

However, new reports suggest that the release strategy has changed. Instead of a single release in 2025, the makers are planning to present the story in two parts. According to sources, Part 1 is expected in 2027, with speculation around a potential March 26, 2027 release date. The second part is reportedly scheduled for 2029.
Interestingly, actor Ram Charan, who previously collaborated with Rajamouli on RRR, jokingly hinted at a 2026 release during an interaction, but the two-part release plan seems to be the more realistic timeline.
