Varanasi, one of the most anticipated films in Telugu cinema, has already become a trending topic even before its official announcement. Headlined by Superstar Mahesh Babu and directed by the visionary S.S. Rajamouli, the film features a powerful story crafted by KV Vijayendra Prasad and SS Kanchi.
At a recent event, Vijayendra Prasad heightened expectations by revealing that the film includes a spectacular 30-minute episode showcasing Mahesh Babu’s “Vishwaroopam.” Drawing a parallel to the divine awe experienced during Lord Balaji’s darshan at Tirumala, he stated that audiences will be left equally stunned by Mahesh Babu’s performance. He added that he watched the sequence without background score and was still blown away by its impact.
Music composer MM Keeravani further amplified the excitement, praising Mahesh Babu’s exceptional work and expressing confidence that the film will win over fans. He also hinted that the makers are planning a massive Summer 2027 release.
Varanasi is being jointly produced by Sri Durga Arts and Showing Business, marking a major collaboration for one of India’s most awaited cinematic spectacles.
