Maverick director Puri Jagannadh is introducing his son Aakash Puri as hero with an upcoming romantic action entertainer Mehbooba which is slated for release on May 11th. Puri recalled an incident about his son while speaking at Mehbooba audio launch event took place today.
Puri recalled that, Aakash has interest in acting since his childhood so he used to wake up early at 4 to 5 AM.“One day Aakash came to me and requested that he’ll narrate me a story. As per his story, Mahesh Babu and he (Aakash) are thick friends and Mahesh can’t live without seeing his 10-year old friend.

Aakash insisted me to narrate the same story to Mahesh Babu.If I really had narrated the same story, Mahesh Babu would have slapped both of us,” chuckled Puri Jagannadh.
Puri also informed that, Aakash as to gratify his director friends Rajamouli, VV Vinayak, Sukumar etc. used to touch their feet whenever they visit his house.Mehbooba’s result is crucial for Puri Jagannadh as well as for his son. While the director is willing to helm a star hero in his next, Aakash desires to prove his mettle as hero.
