In his efforts to further strengthen the already on-board ensemble cast for his new film starring Ram Charan in lead role, mass director Boyapati Srinu has approached young hero Rahul Ravindran to play the brother role of Charan. And, Rahul rejected the role for the reasons best known to him.
We have learnt that Rahul was approached by Boyapati with the offer of Charan’s brother character. The young hero had some reservations about playing the role and hence he rejected it.
It may be recalled that Rahul had earlier played the character of Mahesh Babu’s brother-in-law in ‘Srimanthudu’. He accepted that role even though it had negative shades. So, Boyapati was heard to be surprised when Rahul rejected Charan’s brother role.
On work front, Rahul’s latest release, “Howrah Bridge” sank without a trace at box office. He is currently awaiting the release of his directorial debut film, “Chi La Sou”, and aspires to get busy as a director following its release.
Coming to Charan-Boyapati film, Kiara Advani, Sneha, Tamil hero Prashanth and Bollywood hero Vivek Oberoi are on board.
