The number of Covid cases across the country have been on a constant rise for the past few days. Multiple big-ticket films have already postponed their release dates and the latest reports suggest that KGF 2 will be the new addition to the list.
KGF 2 is scheduled to hit the silver screens on 16th July but that might not be possible, given the situation pertaining to Covid outbreak in the country.
The makers of they Yash starrer don’t want to risk the possibility of poor box office returns owing to Covid outbreak. So, they have decided to postpone the film’s release.
The decision on the release date will be taken only after the situation is reassessed in the next few weeks.
KGF 2 is in final leg of production and the final cut will be locked very soon.
The Prashanth Neel directorial is one of the most anticipated films of the year and it is getting a grand pan-India release.
