In April, Discovery+ began the Star Vs Food programme with the glamorous actress Kareena Kapoor Khan. The new superstar cooking show includes week by week episodes of stars setting themselves in the challenging acts of preparing a feast for their friends and family under the oversight of an expert culinary specialist.
The show, titled Star vs Food, aired on April 15 that featured Bollywood personalities Kareena, Karan Johar and Arjun Kapoor, among others so far.
After Kareena, Karan Johar, Arjun Kapoor, Malaika Arora has jumped the bandwagon to show off her culinary skills. She visited her most liked café Masque in Mumbai where Executive Chef and Co-proprietor Prateek Sadhu shows Malaika Arora how to make Morel Yakhni and she consequently utilizes her mom’s recipe to cook Malabar Fish Curry.
When questioned about her choices of cuisines, Malaika revealed that though she prefers healthy food, her comfort food is absolutely her mother’s Malabar Fish Curry. Though the actress relishes cooking, she apparently distances away from chopping and cutting part of the food preparation. It was for the first time she filleted a giant fish and swiftly learnt the technique.
Malaika’s sister Amrita Arora along with her friends Preetha Sukhtankar and Sarvesh Shashi were invited as special guests on the episode who praise her cooking skills after indulging themselves in the sumptuous food.
