Veteran producer MS Raju who was known for bankrolling tasteful love stories ‘Varsham’, ‘Nuvvothanante Nenoddantana’, ‘Manasantha Nuvve’, ‘Aata’, ‘Pournami’ and others has always had a knack for picking up good subjects. MS Raju himself penned the story for his production ventures at times. He is churning out youthful love stories as a director lately but he changed his pattern once again and came up with ‘Malli Pelli’ featuring Naresh and Pavitra as the lead.
As we know, the senior actors are in a relationship in real life too and this led to a lot of controversy with Naresh’s ex-wife. On the occasion of Naresh completing 50 golden years in the film industry, the teaser of ‘Malli Pelli’ was released. This movie is a Telugu-Kannada bilingual and it is named ‘Matthe Madhuve’ in Sandalwood. MS Raju has reportedly penned the story and directed this film which is produced by Naresh himself under Vijaya Krishna Movies.
After making a good impression with the first look poster and a glimpse, the teaser looks quite interesting. It begins with Vanitha Vijayakumar addressing the media and disclosing that she was cheated. She calls her husband played by Naresh a beast. Naresh who finds his love for the second time is seen having a joyful life with Pavitra Lokesh. The teaser surely grabs the attention for its intriguing narrative. Naresh is at his usual best, wherein Pavitra Lokesh and Vanitha are the perfect choices for their respective roles. One wonders if the story is fiction or showcases the real-life incidents which we saw in the news channels already. We need to wait and what Naresh and Pavitra say about this movie during promotions.
