Fidaa new trailer is certainly refreshing, however, what is surprising is the striking domination of Sai Pallavi over Varun Tej. Sai Pallavi has got a very strong character Bhanumati whose body language, histrionics, antics,and most importantly her Telangana dialect take center stage. Whereas Varun confined to refined, subtle, and soft character.
With this Sai Pallavi has joined the long list of Malayalam heroines who dominate their co-stars in the films they act. Even the recent Ninnu Kori saw a flawless performance of Nivetha Thomas who was pretty comfortable and was in complete ease. In fact, Nivetha did it in Gentleman as well.
Not to forget is Nithya Menon who is simply outstanding. Her filmography says that all. Starting from Ala Modalayindi, Nithya has delivered remarkable performances in Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju and so on. Now in the younger lot actresses like Anu Emmanuel are also giving Telugu heroes run for their money.
No doubt, Tollywood has a special fond for Mallu actresses. Our industry has been importing bundle of talent from Malayalam. And mana heroes too are very keen on Mallu actresses. But looks like, our heroes haven’t realised that they’re outwitting them.
