Actress Mamitha Baiju, currently riding the wave of success from her latest film Dude, has dismissed reports claiming she earned Rs 15 crore for her role. The actress expressed her surprise after seeing social media posts circulating the figure.
“There were reports claiming I received Rs 15 crore as my salary for the movie. I’m not active on social media, but seeing the comments honestly took me by surprise,” Mamitha said.
She noted that many seemed to believe the rumours without questioning their authenticity. Addressing some of the reactions, she added, “Some even wrote things like, ‘Has she really become that big to demand Rs 15 crore?’ People should understand that not everything they see on social media is true.”
Mamitha urged fans and the public to verify information before spreading it further.
