Manchu Lakshmi is going with great guns of late. Recently she is honored by the Turkish Consulate .The consulate bestowed the actress cum filmmaker with its First honorary Visa on its maiden ceremony. Lakshmi Manchu becomes the first person to receive such an honor in the entire of the South India.
Lakshmi’s two films Budugu and Dongaata is getting ready for release and the film trailers giving good impression among audience. The recent honor for Lakshmi is to become Vice President for ‘Movie Artists Association'(MAA).
Yes…Lakshmi Manchu unanimously got elected as Vice President for ‘Movie Artists Association'(MAA). Along with Lakshmi few other members who elected unanimously were Tanikella Bharani, Shivaji raja and Ali..Tanikella Bharani is elected as Executive Vice President. Shivaji Raja is elected for the post of General Secretary and Comedian Ali for Secretary.
Meanwhile an election will be held to choose president on March 29. Comedian Rajendra Prasad and veteran actress Jayasudha were competing for the top post of MAA. The outgoing President Murali Mohan has openly declared his support to Jayasudha and Nagababu has declared his support to Dr. Rajendra Prasad. So, it will be a direct face-off between Jayasudha and Rajendra Prasad.
