Internal disputes within the Manchu family have once again spilled into the public eye, with the latest incident involving actor Manchu Manoj being detained by the Tirupati police.
According to reports, Manoj was staying at a nature reserve resort near Tirupati when the police approached him, asking him to vacate the premises. The reason cited was that a VIP like him should not be staying in dense forest areas, which led to an alleged breach of privacy. Manoj reportedly resisted the police’s request, escalating the situation further.
Things took a dramatic turn when Tirupati police were contacted by his father, actor Manchu Mohan Babu. Mohan Babu expressed concerns about Manoj’s actions, particularly regarding his private university, and requested the police to detain him before the situation worsened. The police, taking the matter seriously, complied with Mohan Babu’s request, and Manoj was detained for questioning.
The series of events began earlier in the day on February 18 and culminated in Manoj’s detention. He remains in police custody, and it remains to be seen how the police will handle the situation in the coming days.
