The ongoing protests called by the Trade Unions against privatising Vizag Steel Plant(VSP) dubbed as Visakha Ukku Movement has become a national issue now. The trade unions have decided to intensify the protests by announcing an indefinite strike.
Tollywood Young Hero Manchu Vishnu faced the wrath of the protests after the protests allegedly blocked the hero and stressed him to raise his voice against the move and support the protests.Vishnu was in the port city Visakhapatnam to prime his upcoming high-budget film Mosagallu which also stars Kajal Aggarwal. The protestors reportedly questioned the hero, why can’t he support the protests.
The protestors are said to have told the hero that, why the celebrities who visit the port city for their film shootings and promotions are silent when the steel plant is on the verge of getting privatized.It has to be noted that, Mega Star Chiranjeevi is the only big hero from the film industry to raise his voice against the centre’s decision and stood in solidarity with the protestors.
