Following the success of his 2022 film “Dhamaka,” Telugu actor Ravi Teja, fondly known as Mass Maharaja, is back with a new project titled “Mr Bachchan.” This upcoming film marks a reunion between Teja and director Harish Shankar, who previously collaborated on the hit movies “Shock” and “Mirapakay.”
“Mr Bachchan” is reportedly a remake of the Bollywood action film “Raid” starring Ajay Devgn. However, director Shankar is known for his ability to infuse his own creative vision into adaptations, so fans can expect a fresh take on the original story.
The film’s shooting is nearing completion, with approximately 90% already wrapped. Director Shankar has expressed his enthusiasm for the project, particularly praising the lyrics penned by Bhaskarabhatla. Three songs remain to be filmed, two in exotic locations outside of Hyderabad and one within the city itself, with rumors suggesting Kashmir as a potential shooting spot.
Music for “Mr Bachchan” is composed by the talented Micky J Meyer, further amplifying the excitement among Ravi Teja’s fans. Avinash Kolla handles production design, while Ujwal Kulkarni takes charge of editing. The film is a joint presentation by Panorama Studios and T-Series.
Produced by TG Vishwa Prasad under the banner of People Media Factory with Vivek Kuchibhotla serving as co-producer, “Mr Bachchan” promises to be a thrilling action entertainer tailored for Mass Maharaja’s dedicated fanbase. With a successful directorial team and a captivating premise, the film has the potential to become a major box office draw.
