Actress Meera Chopra is absolutely in no mood to calm down on the social media abuse she faced by a section of Jr NTR fans. The other day, Meera took this controversy to the attention of National Commission for Women (NCW) and last evening she tweeted to AP CM YS Jagan.
This morning, Meera has tweeted to Telangana IT minister KTR and lodged her complaint. “@KTRTRS @RaoKavitha ive been abused of gangrape, acidattack, abused, cyberbullied and slutshamed by your state. @hydcitypolice has filed an fir and i hope for the safety of women this will investigated thoroughly,” tweeted Meera Chopra.
In reply, KTR tweeted, “Ma’m, I have requested @TelanganaDGP and @CPHydCity to take stern action as per law based on your complaint.”
For KTR’s reply, Meera wrote, “Thanks sir, it really means a lot. This is very important for women safety. These people should not be left free to do crimes on women!”
Already as per NCW chairperson’s directions, the Cyber-Crime cops have filed an FIR and investigating the case. With Meera involving KTR in this episode, will there be any speedy probe and catch the Twitters users who have abused her? Let’s see.
