Mahavatar Narsimha has emerged as one of the most successful animated devotional films of the year, achieving blockbuster status at the box office. Originally released in Kannada, the film was later dubbed into multiple languages and received an overwhelmingly positive response. Surprisingly, the film even reached Karachi, Pakistan, where it was screened for a large audience.

Despite Pakistan being a predominantly Islamic country with Hindus as a minority, the screening at the Swami Narayan Mandir in Karachi garnered global attention. Videos from the event are now going viral on social media, suggesting that more such films could reach Pakistan in the future if the reception continues.

The animated feature, which no one expected to gross ₹300 crore, set impressive box office records. It has also been recently considered for Oscar nominations. Mahavatar Narsimha is the first installment in a seven-part animated series known as the Mahavatar Cinematic Universe. Directed by Ashwin Kumar and produced by Kleem Productions, the film’s distribution was handled by Hombale Films.
