On the ninth day, Megastar Chiranjeevi and his brother in law Allu Arvind took the holy dip in the Godavari waters. Later, Chiru and Arvind performed the rituals of reverence of ancestors (pinda pradhanam). Arvind’s son and actor Allu Sirish too accompanied them.
The Godavari Maha Pushkaralu are coming to an end, but the enthusiasm and devotion among the devotees have not slowed down even a little. Already more than a crore devotees have thronged various ghats by the River Godavari and took the holy dip and performed several rituals to appease the souls of their ancestors. The Pushkaralu will come to an end on 24th July.
