On the 10th anniversary of Baahubali: The Beginning, director SS Rajamouli and producer Shobu Yarlagadda have announced an all-new theatrical experience — Baahubali: The Epic. This is not a simple re-release of Baahubali: The Beginning (2015) or Baahubali: The Conclusion (2017), but a re-cut, remastered, and enhanced version that merges both films into a single, cohesive narrative. The worldwide release is set for October 31, 2025, coinciding with actor Prabhas’ birthday week.

The recently unveiled teaser has already generated excitement, with viewers calling it the most visually stunning version of Baahubali yet. Industry insiders suggest that while the film has been restructured with upgraded visual effects and sound design, some new scenes may also be included, though the makers have not officially confirmed this. Rajamouli explained his vision: “Both Baahubali films were always meant to be one story, but it was too vast for a single film. For the 10th anniversary, I wanted to give audiences something new — not just what they had already seen.”

Baahubali: The Epic will release in premium formats such as IMAX, 4DX, D-BOX, EPIQ, and Dolby Cinema, aiming to recapture the grandeur of the franchise on a truly global scale. The original two-part series reshaped the Telugu film industry, inspiring a wave of sequels and franchise-driven films. Following this trend, recent hits like Pushpa: The Rule and Karthikeya 2, as well as upcoming projects such as Devara 2, Hari Hara Veera Mallu, and Kingdom, are continuing the legacy.
