Megastar Chiranjeevi, 59, will turn 60 on 22nd August. On this memorable occasion, Mega fans have planned to celebrate Chiru’s Shashti Poorthi in a grand manner at Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad. On this occasion, fans will be felicitating Chiru and his wife Surekha. A wide range of charity works, felicitations and health camps are being planned from 15th to 22nd August by Mega fans across the Telugu states.
Recently, the members of All India Chiranjeevi Yuvatha met in Eluru to discuss the programs and events to be carried out during the festivities. The association also decided to celebrate 22nd August as Mega Fans’ Day. It is reliably learnt that Ram Charan and Naga Babu will oversee the celebrations and various relief and charity activities. However, the onus is primary on conducting blood and eye donations.
The celebrations will be have a starry glamour as Chiru will himself be felicitating the Telugu prides like Saina Nehwal, Sania Mirza, Ambati Rayudu and MLC Ramu Surya Rao etc, apart from awarding the top rankers in 10th standard, intermediate and EAMCET examinations. Around 1000 Mega fans who frequently donated blood will also be felicitated with gold medals by Chiru. It is heartening to see the fans involving themselves in such appreciable social causes and not restricting themselves to mere celebrations.
