Hero Nani’s latest movie Middle Class Abbayi today aka MCA has hit screens today. Produced by Dil Raju and carved out by Venu Sriram, the film has enough buzz already at the box office and all that buzz should actually turn into a blockbuster range success. Is that going to happen?
Currently, any hero’s box office range is not being determined by his fan bases but only by the content of the film. And now, MCA is sold in many areas to various distributors while Dil Raju will release on his own in few places. According to trade reports, the film made a pre-release business of nearly 24+ crores in AP and Telangana alone, while Overseas rights are sold for 3.5+ crores.
Including all other territories, it made 30+ crores already, so the film should collect minimum that much amount to make everyone safe. The first day numbers are heard to be marking Nani’s career best, but due to huge pre release business and mixed talk, breakeven seems to be a herculian task.
Going by the present talk at theatres and reviews of critics, it looks like Nani has to struggle a bit to get a superhit range of collection, leave alone a blockbuster. But Nani’s image has the ability to pull magical feat at the box office and during these times where there is no big competitor around, he might pull off. But let’s see if Akhil’s Hello can stop the unstoppable Nani this time.
