Pakistan seems to be a very slow learner as it hasn’t learn any lessons even after Peshawar school massacre. Continuing its ceasefire violations alongside the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu & Kashmir, Pakistan has began firing at midnight of Dec 31, 2014 or in the wee hours of Jan 1, 2015 facing severe ire from the Indian Defence.
According to reports, Pakistani rangers violated ceasefire on Jan 1 again by firing on 13 border outposts in Samba sector drawing retaliation from Border Security Force (BSF). Lashing out at Pakistan, Union Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar stated, “Pakistan doesn’t like to stay quiet even on the New Year day, last night it began firing.”
Manohar added that Pakistan hasn’t learn any lessons. Meanwhile, Inspector General (IG) of BSF, Jammu Frontier, Rakesh Sharma asserted that BSF never fires ‘first’ towards the Pakistan side along the International Border. He added that Pak should be ready to suffer collateral damages if the Indian side retaliates.
