Not so long ago, Andhra Pradesh Electricity and Forest Minister Balineni Srinivas Reddy faced backlash after posting a snap of himself on a luxurious trip to Russia. He was quick to react and took down the post from his social media handles.
Incidentally, TDP leaders have been breathing fire on Balineni, saying he is ‘hawala king’ and going on foreign trips by spending public’s money.
In response to TDP’s allegations, Balineni clarified that he went to Russia on a private trip. “I went to Russia on a private trip. I went there to attend the birthday party of my close friend. I was accompanied by a TDP MLA on the trip. As for TDP, the party is stooping to new lows to make personal allegations. Even Chandrababu Naidu went on a lavish personal trip to an island country recently. Should I reveal more details about the trip to humiliate him and TDP now?”
Balineni said he personally bore the entire expenses pertaining to his Russia trip.
