Minister KTR has set up Covid Command Center to tackle possible third wave

Telangana IT and Municipal Minister KTR has inaugurated a Covid Command Centre in the premises of the Indian Institute of Health and Family Welfare in Vengala Rao Nagar, Hyderabad. Minister KTR said that this control room gives Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML)-based insights on Covid cases.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Chief Secretary to Government Somesh Kumar, Industries Principal Secretary Jayesh Ranjan, Health Secretary Rizvi, Disaster Management Secretary Rahul Bojja, Indian Institute of Health and Family Welfare Director Alugu Varshini. Minister KTR was of the view that these command centres would be useful to the administrative system by maintaining all the data related to Covid-19. Also, he said that these command centres will help people to seek medical guidance.
