Mixed Buzz as Four Films Clash at the Box Office

This weekend, four new films are hitting the box office, but the overall excitement is relatively muted. Among them, Jack has slowly built some anticipation after an interesting trailer, but the buzz still falls short compared to the actor’s previous blockbuster, Tillu Square. While advance bookings haven’t been impressive, the team remains optimistic that strong word-of-mouth could help the film gain momentum after release.

On the other hand, Good Bad Ugly, starring Ajith Kumar, is performing well in Tamil Nadu with over 5,000 tickets being sold every hour. However, the response from Telugu audiences has been modest. Ajith’s recent films like Valimai, Thunivu, and Viduthalai did not fare well in Telugu states, which has led to a noticeable dip in excitement. Despite being backed by a prominent banner like Mythri Movie Makers and securing good screens, the film’s success in Telugu markets will largely depend on early reviews.

Sunny Deol’s Jatt is releasing only in Hindi, which has limited its reach among Telugu-speaking audiences. Interestingly, the film features several familiar names from Tollywood such as Gopichand Malineni, Jagapathi Babu, Ramya Krishna, Regina Cassandra, and music by Thaman. A Telugu dubbed version hasn’t been released due to time constraints, but if the movie garners a positive response, a dubbed version might follow. However, delaying a commercial film like this could potentially affect its overall impact.

Meanwhile, Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi, starring popular anchor Pradeep, is also in the race but struggling to grab attention. With limited buzz and competition from multiple releases, it remains to be seen how this film will fare at the box office. The next few days will determine which of these films will resonate with audiences and emerge successful.
