YCP MLA Roja broke down in tears at a meeting of the Legislative Privilege Committee in Tirupati, Chittoor district.
Roja complained to Privilege committee chairman Kakani Govardhan Reddy that the authorities were not giving her priority.
She seems to have complained that the constituency did not care about her, at least not inviting her to official functions.
She lamented that nowhere in her constituency was protocol being followed even for home distribution programs.
Assembly Privilege Committee Chairman Kakani Govardhan Reddy responded to the allegations of MLA RK Roja.
He said that they would take action on any legislator if the protocol was not followed. Kakani clarified that there is no difference between the ruling party and the opposition in protecting the rights of the legislature.
