Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his entourage were stunned as they did not get accomodation at the one of the best star hotel Lalitha Mahal Palace in Mysuru.
Modi arrived Karnataka on official visit and he is scheduled to stay in Mysuru on Sunday night. The district officials approached the hotel management to book rooms for PM and his staff including security personnel. The management told the officials all rooms were already booked for a wedding reception.
The officials were told only three rooms were available but they are not enough to meet the requirement for accommodation you all.
The district administration later made alternative arrangements for prime minister and his staff at another plush hotel in the city. Modi was accommodated at Hotel Radisson Blu, where he stayed overnight. He addressed a public meeting in the historic city in the run up to Assembly elections this year.
