Modi highlighted that Andhra Pradesh’s progress is inseparable from the nation’s development, particularly stressing the importance of Rayalaseema’s rise in this transformation. He noted that the newly launched infrastructure projects would open new opportunities and put the region on a fast-paced growth trajectory.
Praising the state, Modi described Andhra Pradesh as a proud symbol of self-respect, culture, science, and innovation, and lauded the youth for their immense talent and potential. Recalling his visit to the Srisailam temple earlier in the day, he said he sought divine blessings for the continued prosperity of the people of the state.
Speaking about leadership, the Prime Minister commended Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, referring to them as a “dynamic duo” leading Andhra Pradesh toward a brighter and stronger future. Modi assured that the Central Government would fully support the state in every developmental initiative under the double-engine government model.
He further elaborated on the success of GST reforms, pointing out that most goods and services once taxed at 28 percent are now under 18 percent or 5 percent slabs, easing financial pressure on the poor and middle class. He said these reforms have resulted in significant festive savings for millions of families during Dussehra and Diwali.
