Another Telugu Star Comes Onboard For ‘War 2’!

Popular Telugu actor Jr. NTR, also known as Young Tiger, has a busy schedule ahead. While the release date for his upcoming film “Devara” has been pushed back to October, reports suggest he will soon begin filming for the highly anticipated sequel “War 2.”

The wait for “War 2” seems to be nearing its end. With the release of “Devara” postponed, sources claim NTR will join the “War 2” shoot this month. This delay provided director Ayan Mukerji with valuable time to refine the script and ensure a polished final product.

Hrithik Roshan reprises his lead role from the first film, and “War 2” promises to be another action-packed thriller. Adding to the excitement is the news of veteran Telugu actor Jagapathi Babu’s involvement. According to reports, Babu will portray NTR’s father in the film, bringing his versatility to this high-octane project. While official confirmation is pending, the news has generated significant buzz online.

The leading lady for “War 2” remains unconfirmed. Insiders suggest Kiara Advani, known for her roles in “Bharat Ane Nenu” and “Game Changer,” is in talks for the role. Additionally, rumors swirl about Alia Bhatt, the star of “RRR,” also being part of the cast. The makers have yet to make any official announcements regarding the female lead.

Further speculation surrounds John Abraham, who recently appeared in “Pathaan.” Reports suggest a potential cameo appearance for him in “War 2.”

Sources claim both NTR and Hrithik Roshan have dedicated 60 working days to the film, with 25-30 days planned for scenes featuring them together. The remaining days will focus on individual character development and other filming requirements.

If filming progresses as planned, “War 2” could see a release by the end of 2024. This news is sure to excite fans who have been eagerly awaiting the sequel since the first film’s success.
