Modi’s Personal Invite to Nara Lokesh Sparks Political Buzz

Prime Minister Narendra Modi appeared to be in high spirits as he interacted with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, and other dignitaries during the grand Amaravati event held last evening.

Among the key moments of the evening was a lighthearted yet intriguing exchange between PM Modi and IT Minister Nara Lokesh. According to reports, while speaking with Lokesh before stepping on stage, Modi jokingly asked, “How many times do I have to invite you? Why don’t you come to meet me?”

This is reportedly the second time Modi has extended a personal invitation to Lokesh, the first being during his previous visit to Andhra Pradesh. Responding to Modi’s gesture, Lokesh reportedly assured the Prime Minister that he would meet him soon, along with his family.

Interestingly, during Lokesh’s recent official trip to Delhi, he met several Union Ministers to discuss resources for Andhra Pradesh but did not meet Modi—possibly due to scheduling or strategic reasons. However, Modi’s direct invitation has now stirred speculation in political circles.

Observers are now wondering if Modi sees Nara Lokesh as a rising leader in Andhra Pradesh politics and is keen on fostering a personal rapport with the TDP scion—especially given his longstanding alliance with Lokesh’s father, Chandrababu Naidu.
