Nani’s upcoming film The Paradise, directed by Srikanth Odela, has already created a buzz among audiences right from its early production stages. The initial glimpse of the film went viral online, sparking even more curiosity. While speculations about veteran actor Mohan Babu being part of the project have been circulating for a while, it had not been made official—until now.
At the press meet of her upcoming film Daksha, Manchu Lakshmi accidentally confirmed the news. She revealed that her father, Mohan Babu, is indeed part of The Paradise. Realizing the announcement hadn’t been made official yet, she quickly added that she was proud to reveal it herself, confident that Nani wouldn’t mind.
According to industry sources, the role designed for Mohan Babu is said to be one of the most unique in his career. Director Srikanth Odela reportedly crafted the character with Mohan Babu in mind, and the actor himself is very excited about the opportunity. The role also includes action sequences, which has prompted the senior star to work rigorously on his fitness.
Speaking about her father’s dedication, Manchu Lakshmi said, “My father is working out continuously to build his muscles because the character demands it. At this age, he could easily relax, but instead, he is putting in a lot of hard work.”
Meanwhile, actress Kayadu Lohar has been roped in as the female lead. The film’s shoot is currently in progress, and Mohan Babu’s character is expected to be one of the major highlights of the movie.
