A few days ago, veteran actor Mohan Babu made sensational comments that two Telugu actors are behind the social media trolls on his family.
As Mohan Babu’s film Son Of India hit the screens Friday, we can find a lot of negativity spreading on the movie even before the release in the form of trolls on social media platforms.
But now, the veteran actor and his actor son Manchu Vishnu are not taking memes and trolls on their family and the movie lightly. They have been sending legal notices to memers, YouTube channels and individual accounts and handles on various social media platforms for posting derogatory content on them.
The actor’s 24 Frames Factory is issuing the notices, stating that it was disturbing to see numerous social media posts against Mohan Babu and Vishnu and also links the cyber attack to recent developments in the Tollywood over movie ticket pricing.
“Despite the hurting and derogatory nature of your posts, comments, images and videos, we have maintained restraint, but your targeting has gone overboard,” said the notice.
“We shall sue your establishment and go to the extent of claiming damages to the tune of Rs 10 crore. Further, as this targeted personal attack against our distinguished clients clearly amounts to cognizable cyber offences, we shall also be approaching the concerned police officers for redress,” the notice added.
