The much-anticipated third installment of the Malayalam blockbuster, Drishyam 3, begins shooting today. Director Jeethu Joseph returns to once again bring the intriguing life of George Kutty to the big screen.
Mohanlal is busier than ever this year, balancing multiple projects with remarkable dedication. So far, he has already delivered four releases: Baroz (released on December 25, 2024), Empuraan, Thudarum, and Hridayapoorvam. While Empuraan and Thudarum were well-received, Hridayapoorvam fell short at the box office.
Next up, Mohanlal is preparing for Vrusshabha, scheduled to hit theaters this Diwali, which means he will complete five releases in just 10 months—a feat few actors can match.
Jeethu Joseph is known for his swift filmmaking, and it is expected that Drishyam 3 will also be completed within three to four months, aiming for a release in the first half of next year.
At over 60 years of age, Mohanlal’s relentless work ethic is truly remarkable. Recently, he was honored with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award by the Government of India, recognizing his enduring contribution to Indian cinema. Lalettan continues to prove why he remains one of the most beloved and hardworking stars in the industry.
