Thiruvananthapuram: A lighthearted moment involving Malayalam superstar Mohanlal became the talk of the town after a brief incident outside Tagore Theatre on Monday. The actor was attending an event to receive an award for being the top individual GST payer, when a minor mishap took place as he exited the venue.
As Mohanlal was making his way to his car, a journalist approached him with a question about his daughter’s possible entry into films. The actor, politely replying with a “No comments,” continued walking toward his vehicle. However, amidst the chaos of the crowd and flashing cameras, the journalist’s microphone accidentally hit Mohanlal near the eye.
Rather than getting upset, the legendary actor took it in stride. In a humorous, film-style response, he looked at the journalist and quipped, “Don’t you know it’s the eyes? I have been watching you.” His witty one-liner, delivered with trademark flair, left those around him laughing. Moments later, he got into his car and left the scene.
