
Malayalam superstar Mohanlal is all set to enthrall audiences with the highly anticipated film “Vrushabha”, which is slated for a grand theatrical release on December 25 through Geetha Film Distributors. Directed by Nandakishore, the film has been made simultaneously in Malayalam and Telugu, promising a truly pan-Indian cinematic experience. The film’s pre-release event was held today in Hyderabad, drawing significant attention.
At the event, the team expressed immense confidence in the film. Producer and distributor Bunny Vas revealed that “Vrushabha” has been made on a massive budget, with grand visuals and high-octane sequences. He highlighted that the film reaches new heights from the King episode onwards, praising its action sequences and emotional depth. He also lauded Sam CS for delivering a captivating musical score.
Bunny Vas shared that he had watched about 45 minutes of footage and was impressed by Samarjit’s natural performance, predicting a bright future for him in Kannada cinema. He also expressed hope that Nayan would achieve a hat-trick of successes with this film, following Aay and KA.
Speaking about Mohanlal, he expressed gratitude and admiration, noting that it was a privilege to work with the superstar. He emphasized that the film features actors from multiple languages and praised director Nandakishore as a talented technician, whose vision and grand filmmaking will shine on screen.
Acknowledging the competitive release period, Bunny Vas mentioned that seven films are releasing on December 25, making the Sankranti holidays an exciting time for the film industry. He clarified that “Vrushabha” was originally scheduled for release two months earlier but was postponed due to unavoidable reasons. Importantly, he stressed that this is not a dubbed film, but a pan-India project shot in all languages, including Telugu.
The film is produced under the banners of Connekkt Media, Balaji Telefilms, and Abhishek S Vyas Studios, by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, C.K. Padma Kumar, Varun Mathur, Saurabh Mishra, Abhishek S Vyas, Praveer Singh, Vishal Gurnani, and Juhi Parekh Mehta, with Vimal Lahoti serving as co-producer.
