The first volume of Netflix’s Money Heist season 5 will be made available for streaming in under 72 hours from now and the followers of the shot can’t hold back their excitement as the series is gearing up for its world premieres on Netflix on the 3rd of September. The first volume of Money Heist season will have a total of 5 episodes and the second volume will also have 5 episodes. While the first volume will be out on the 3rd of September, the second volume will be out on the 3rd of December this year.
In the forthcoming season, the gang will face its biggest challenge to date, as the Professor is held captive by the police and one of the gang members, is shot dead inside the vault of Spain. Volume 1 unravels the scale and the magnitude of the heist and it sets the premise for the second volume that will be out this December.
“We’ve spent almost a year thinking about how to break up the band. How to put the Professor on the ropess. How to get into situations that are irreversible for many characters. The result is the fifth part of La Casa de Papel. The war reaches its most extreme and savage levels, but it is also the most epic and exciting season. We have many opportunities for spin-offs. This is due to the strong identities of the characters. We’ve always looked for characters that are complex, so I think almost every character has a side that we would like to see in a spin-off,” the creator of the series Alex Pina was quoted saying Devdisource as he opened up about season 5.
The official synopsis of Money Heist season 5 read “The gang has been shut in the Bank of Spain for over 100 hours. They have managed to rescue Lisbon, but their darkest moment is upon them after losing one of their own. The Professor has been captured by Sierra and, for the first time, doesn’t have an escape plan. Just when it seems like nothing else could go wrong, an enemy comes on the scene that is much more powerful than any they’ve faced: the army. The end of the greatest heist in history is approaching, and what began as a robbery will turn into a war.” Again as mentioned in Devdisource.
