More and More Companies Join to Boycott Russia!

From day one of waging a war on Ukraine, Russia is facing back-to-back setbacks. Starting with Ukraine giving a strong reply to the bulldozing Russian army and one after the other companies, mainly the corporate companies started leaving Russia and announced that it will not run the business in Russia.

As a fresh addition to the Corporate war on Russia, two big firms that have business across the globe, Deloitte and IBM have pulled themselves out of Russia. They said that they are not happy with Russia announcing a war on Ukraine and hence, they have decided to quit Russia.

To show how the world is against Russia, the leading companies and firms across the fields are pulling out of invading Russia. It all started with the United States and other nations imposing financial sanctions on Russia.

As a big blow to Russia, the banking sector was hit really hard with its decision to invade Ukraine. Financial technology company PayPal, Master Card, Visa, and other companies that offer online payment services had pulled out of Russia.

Despite the banking sector facing several blows, one thing that kept Russia going is the reserve funds Russia has. It is said that the superpower nation had a good amount of liquid cash in funds and the decision to have the funds as backup is now saving Russia in the middle of the crisis.

The corporate war against Russia by the big players in the corporate world did not just restrict to the online payments and service sector, the list goes on. Big car manufacturing companies have also decided to not sell cars for the nation. A few companies like Nissan, Benz, and Volkswagen have stopped their exports to Russia.

American subscription streaming service and production company Netflix also played its part in boycotting Russia. The OTT platform said that it had put a hold on the projects that it was supposed to do with a few Russian production houses. No work will be done in this regard until further notice.

Technology giant Google is also a part of the corporate war against Russia. The company had suspended its services in Russia. Giving a reason for this, Google said that it wants to stand in solidarity with Ukraine, and hence the decision was taken.
