South India’s star director Shankar’s gigantic project ‘Indian 2’ has been in the news for all the wrong reasons from the past couple of months. The shooting came to a halt even before the first lockdown due to the accident and it did not begin till now. The production house and Shankar had some differences which turn a bad turn and they ended up battling it out in the court.
Both of them took legal measures and the case is in Tamil Nadu’s high court. The production house filed a lawsuit claiming that Shankar shouldn’t start his next film whether it is with Ram Charan or Ranveer Singh till he finishes ‘Indian 2’ with Kamal Hassan. This made the entire South India turn towards this issue.
The latest update is that the High Court has appointed a former Supreme Court judge to act as the mediator and it is after his statement that the High court will be taking their next step. Let us wait and see what happens in the coming days.
