Balakrishna fans reportedly attempted to troll Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu as a form of retaliation after some Chiranjeevi fans mocked the failure of Akhanda 2. However, Chiranjeevi’s fan base quickly responded, leaving Balayya fans with little room to counter.
The key highlight is that Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu collected an impressive USD 1.5 million from premieres alone. By comparison, even Balakrishna’s biggest hits in the USA, including Akhanda (Part 1) and Veera Simha Reddy, failed to match this figure, even over their entire theatrical runs.
Chiranjeevi fans have pointed out that this clearly demonstrates the disparity between the USA markets of the two stars. According to them, the combined USA collections of all Balakrishna films still would not equal the earnings of a single successful Chiranjeevi film.
Supporting the film further, director Anil Ravipudi’s team has actively countered trolling and criticism from Balayya fans. This collective backing has contributed to Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu enjoying a strong and growing presence at the USA box office.
