Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham is reportedly going through a difficult phase in his personal life. His daughter, Kranthi, parted ways with him politically by joining the Jana Sena Party ahead of the elections, while Mudragada remained loyal to the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP). This family split coincided with the significant electoral setback faced by YSRCP, adding to the tensions.
Recently, Kranthi made a startling revelation about her father’s ongoing battle with cancer, raising serious concerns about possible political interference in his treatment. She accused her brother, Giri, of deliberately withholding proper medical care from their father.
“My father, Mudragada Padmanabham, is fighting cancer, and I fear that my brother Giri is intentionally denying him the critical treatment he needs,” Kranthi said.
She further disclosed that a former YSRCP MLA tried to arrange a visit to see Mudragada, but Giri and his father-in-law prevented the meeting. Kranthi added that there have been no updates on Mudragada’s health even for close relatives or his longtime supporters. She claimed that her father is being confined and isolated by Giri and his in-laws’ inner circle, cutting off all communication.

Kranthi condemned this treatment as “inhuman and utterly unacceptable,” warning her brother that if these actions are politically motivated, she will not tolerate it. “Our father deserves dignity, transparency, and the best possible care,” she asserted.
While Mudragada Padmanabham remains a staunch supporter of YSRCP and Chief Minister Jagan, Kranthi’s allegations have sparked speculation about possible political games being played with her father’s health. This shocking disclosure has raised many questions and concerns among the public and political observers alike.
