The reason behind Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide is unclear and still under investigation since a month. The police have so far interrogated many people from his family, neighbourhood and friends. The buzz was that there is Salman Khan’s involvement in Sushanth’s death.
Recently the filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Yash Raj were held and interrogated when they were summoned to the Bandra Police Station. Yash Raj recorded the statement for over 2 hours. YRF’s contract was thoroughly scrutinised by police for not doing the four films given to Sushanth and was later found that it was due to the actor’s non availability of dates. Reports were abuzz that Bollywood actor Salman Khan, who has been receiving sharp criticism for over a month now is also pre-supposedly was on the list to be questioned.
Now a recent update state that Mumbai police denied such news and confirmed that Salman will not be grilled in Sushanth’s case. Last week, the actor’s former manager Reshma Shetty was questioned by the cops too for five hours. Mukesh Chhabra, Sanjana Sanghi, Rhea Chakraborty, Mahesh Shetty and his family were among others as part of the interrogation.
