Hyderabad: The much-anticipated film Kuberaa is gearing up for a grand worldwide release on June 20, 2025. The excitement surrounding the project peaked at the trailer launch event held in Hyderabad yesterday, which turned into a star-studded celebration. The entire lead cast — Akkineni Nagarjuna, Dhanush, Rashmika Mandanna — along with director Sekhar Kammula and music director Devi Sri Prasad (DSP), graced the event. The trailer, unveiled to a packed audience, was met with roaring applause, signaling the film’s emotionally gripping and action-packed narrative.

One of the highlights of the evening was the cast and crew expressing their admiration for veteran actor Nagarjuna, who plays a powerful and regal character in the film.

Music composer DSP, who created a special track titled KING dedicated to Nagarjuna’s role, shared his heartfelt thanks. “I am grateful to compose a song like KING for you, sir. Without you, I don’t think anyone else could have done justice to this role. The royal dignity you brought to the character from start to finish is extraordinary. I feel truly blessed to be part of this film.”

Rashmika Mandanna, collaborating with Nagarjuna for the second time, couldn’t hide her affection. “The love I have for you is something I can’t even describe. You’re so charming and such a beautiful person. I only wish I could absorb some of that magic. Thank you for always being so wonderful,” she said emotionally.

Director Sekhar Kammula candidly spoke about his initial nervousness directing the legendary actor. “Even though Nagarjuna sir is very friendly, I was a bit nervous directing him. I still remember visiting the Shiva shoot years ago. The variety of films he has done is truly inspiring. Despite his busy schedule, he made exceptions for Kuberaa, even agreeing to night shoots and Sunday work — things he typically avoids. The dedication he showed, performing intense action scenes at this stage of his career, is commendable.”

Sharing his first-ever screen experience with Nagarjuna, Dhanush expressed his gratitude. “Working with you was nothing short of magical. We grew up watching your films. My sisters had a huge crush on you. To now share screen space with you is a dream come true. Thank you for making this experience so memorable.”
