As a sensational development in the current politics, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, who is the in-charge of the upcoming Uttar Pradesh general elections, had raised serious allegations against the government. She alleged that the social media accounts of her kids were hacked and blamed the government for this.
The allegations of the Gandhi scion came at the time when various opposition parties have been accusing the BJP-led Union government of allegedly tapping the mobile phones of the opponents to know their movements. But Priyanka Gandhi involving her children in this attracted everyone’s attention.
As a response to the allegations made by Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, the government had decided to start a probe into the matter despite the Gandhi scion not filing any formal complaint with the concerned authorities. The probe to look into the matter will be started taking the issue as a suo motu cognizance.
Priyanka Gandhi made shocking allegations against the government while addressing a gathering in Uttar Pradesh earlier this week. Breathing fire on the government, Priyanka Gandhi said the government is targeting the opposition through IT raids and alleged that even her children were not spared.
The Union Government is facing allegations of spying on the mobile phones of big dignitaries using the Pegasus software issue. In the recent past, the opposition parties have been saying that the government is using spy software. Recently, Samajwadi Party’s Akhilesh Yadav alleged that his mobile phone was subjected to spying as IT raids were held in residences of people who are close to him.
