King Nagarjuna wanted his sons to become stars just like him. He made sure that introduced through big banners and big directors but both Naga Chaitanya and Akhil did not become star heroes till date. Naga Chaitanya worked a lot for the mass image but failed to get it. All his successful movies are romantic entertainers and he is a medium-range hero with decent market value.
On the other hand, Akhil was launched grandly in the midst of heavy expectations. After facing three straight flops, he scored his first hit through ‘Most Eligible Bachelor’. Now, he is arriving with ‘Agent’ which is a spy thriller. It is made on a huge budget and Akhil is working very hard to promote it. Interestingly, Nagarjuna who is usually very involved during the promotions of Akhil’s films has stayed away this time. Nag personally looked after the promotions of ‘Akhil’ and ‘Hello’ but they backfired.
With Geetha Arts taking care of ‘Most Eligible Bachelor’, Nagarjuna did not involve quite heavily. As we know, ‘Agent’ is made on a huge budget and insiders claim that Nag is behind it. But he is staying away from the spotlight and keeping his distance from the movie’s promotions. There is a talk that Prabhas might be the guest for the pre-release event of ‘Agent’. Let us wait and see what happens.
