Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena Party (JSP), an ally of the NDA government in Andhra Pradesh, has launched an extensive public outreach initiative, ‘Janam loki Janasena’, aimed at fostering a deeper connection with the electorate. The program, which seeks to engage with the masses effectively, was recently led by JSP General Secretary Naga Babu in Punganur constituency.
During the event, Naga Babu delivered a scathing critique of Punganur MLA and senior YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leader Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, accusing him of encroaching upon large tracts of forest land and manipulating land records. He also alleged that Peddireddy was involved in orchestrating the fire accident at the Madanapalle Tahsildhar office to destroy critical files related to section 22A government lands.
Naga Babu further highlighted the grievances of local residents in Punganur, who warned him about Peddireddy’s alleged wrongdoings, but he boldly responded, stating, “Peddireddy is not the issue; even his leader, YSRCP Chief Jagan Mohan Reddy, and his father, former Chief Minister Rajasekhar Reddy, never intimidated me. I will stand firm.” He emphasized that Janasena followers, under the leadership of Pawan Kalyan, adhere to the path of righteousness and will not be deterred by any form of intimidation. Naga Babu made it clear that those engaged in corrupt practices would face repercussions.
The JSP General Secretary also accused Peddireddy of amassing illegal assets worth over ₹2 lakh crore in the past five years. He strongly criticized the YSRCP leadership, accusing them of neglecting their duties by failing to attend assembly sessions and represent the interests of the public.
In his address, Naga Babu took a direct jab at YSRCP supporters for launching a smear campaign against the government, highlighting the contrasting actions of the NDA government, which, unlike the state government, swiftly increased pension benefits by ₹1000. He also underscored the fulfillment of key promises made by the NDA government, such as the provision of 3 free gas cylinders, pledging that the government will continue to deliver on its promises in due course.
Through this mass outreach program, Janasena Party is consolidating its influence and aiming to strengthen its position in the state while positioning itself as a steadfast advocate for the common people.
