After delivering a blockbuster with Thandel, Naga Chaitanya has teamed up with Virupaksha director Karthik Dandu for an intriguing mythological thriller tentatively titled NC24. Backed by BVSN Prasad under SVCC in collaboration with Sukumar Writings, the film is being presented by Bapineedu. With its unique concept and compelling genre, the film has already piqued interest, especially after the release of its impressive behind-the-scenes video.
The team has successfully wrapped up the first shooting schedule, and the response from the rushes has left the makers highly satisfied. Buoyed by the positive momentum, the cast and crew have now resumed filming in Hyderabad with renewed energy and enthusiasm.
This latest schedule will span a month and involve shooting key sequences across three major locations in the city. Alongside Naga Chaitanya, several other principal actors will be part of this important schedule. The recently released image shows Chaitanya in an intense avatar, wielding an axe and holding a rope, hinting at the film’s dark and gripping tone.
Technically, the film boasts a solid crew — Ragul Dharuman is cranking the camera, Ajaneesh B Loknath is composing the music, and renowned editor Naveen Nooli is handling the cuts. NC24 is touted to be the most expensive project in Naga Chaitanya’s career so far.
The makers are expected to announce the official title and reveal the rest of the main cast in the coming days, heightening anticipation for this high-concept thriller.
